Honestly its obvious management doesnt really care about this place. This place should be a reference in Albany, should be always full because it has the capacity for such. It should be a reference for conferences too, but instead its just one of those places that you can clearly see its potential but management doesnt or its owners doesnt. Take this right, I checked in at around 4PM, there was a dirty basket transport truck in the hallway, I went back out by 8pm and got back inside by 1am, that basket was still in the hallway. I feel like if I did wake up before 9:00AM the next morning I wouldve seen it there still. Also the walls should be painted differently, the lighting in the hallway made it seems like a horror house. Such a place with sooo much potential should be treated right, instead its virtually dead and dirty. Would I go back there again? Nope. I visited this city recently and I booked another hotel near the area.Update: Im back in Albany, 4 weeks after my initial stay at this hotel and decided to drive by to see if management at least tried to do a little something... unfortunately, nothing changed. Mattresses are still standing in the windows on the 7th and 9th floor, place is still filthy, absolutely horrible. Yet the place has so much potential! Its sad, that this is how its failing.New pictures too, the Albany Board of Health,if they have one, should shut down this place for unsanitary conditions. Do not stay here! Upon parking at arrival, there were police officers in the lot and I was asked if I heard gunshots. This place is dirty and smells like cigarettes in the lobby and rooms. The garbage from the rooms was left in the hallway for 20 hours.The bathtub and bedsheets had cigarette burns.The curtains were ripped and some ceiling tile were hanging off. Do not stay here!

Positive: It was very close from the location i work. Negative: The Lobby had a person chewing tobacco and talking to me. He should have a decency to clear his mouth and treat people with respect. I had booked the room for 2 days. The room was not cleaned after the first day. The garbage bin stunk the next day.

Positive: Price. Location Negative: Its a dump!!! My room didnt have hot water. The front desk clerk was good and got me another room, but that meant repacking things, going to desk for a new key and moving to a new room.

WORST HOTEL I ever experienced. Filthy room. We got bit by bed bugs !!!! And they refused to make a refund or resolution for it. The room was not cleaned and there were no basics in the bathroom. I still have bites all over my body. Horrible service should be out of business!

Positive: nothing Negative: The rooms were in back of the main hotel (seems like a hotel and a motel connected in the back. The ice machines were all out of order, the front desk staff was rude, place was dilapidated. This should be advertised differently to the main hotel.

Positive: I did not like this hotel. It was disgusting and the staff was not that nice. I did not want to even touch anything because it was not clean. There were bugs, the shower didnt work and I felt gross after leaving. Negative: I would never go to this hotel again. The pictures are deceiving. Negative: The staff need to be more observant of dust and grime on the trim in unseen corners. But checking under the bed skirt to notice drug paraphernalia hidden beneath would also be a nice indication that a thorough clean had been done.
