This stay was part of our visit to Phuket, and since we did some island hopping, we stayed at different hotels through our trip, and this was our last hotel in Phuket before going back home, but it was THE BEST. starting from hotel decoration and entrance, which was beautiful and the lobby has a magnificent with viewing terrace to the beach. the check inn experience was great, we did welcomed by the staff with smile and warm hospitality ( I think her name was Ying , hopefully I did spell it correctly, thank you), they upgraded our room as recognition to my platinum status, and they showed as to our room. room was clean, and spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful view. it was perfect.the beach area and the coconut lawn was amazing. me and my wife did enjoy morning walking there which was calming and very relaxing. every thing was great, I defiantly will be back when ever I am visiting Phuket

If you are looking for a very chilled spot away from everything in Phuket than it could be a nice alternative for you in terms of price and quality. But if you would like to do some sight seeing, eat in the center or go to the nice beaches its not the right hotel. You should definitely rent a car to do anything outside of the hotel. The quality of the breakfast was very very poor. We couldnt find anything to eat rather than waffle which was also not tasty. The rooms were comfy but quiet old. The sea has tide problem so you cannot really swim too. I wouldnt stay here again.

We stayed four nights in total at this hotel and the following points should be noted:-Bad points - noneGood points:- Staff exceeded our expectations in their attention and service. The hotel is ideally placed to be away from the noise of the city - yet within a short cheap taxi ride. The ambiance of the hotel is first class. The food quality exceptional and the choice of menus well above average. Staff on reception - especially Mark and Fern would be an asset to any hotel as their attention to detail and assistance was more than we could expect. The manager Ellen (hope I spelt that right) gave us her full attention whenever we required it and the rest of the staff formed a good solid working team any hotel would be proud of.Note for swimmer:- The beach is extremely shallow, and the tide goes out a very long way – very scenic though - ideal for kids but not for swimming. However, the beautiful large pools are ideal for swimming or just messing about in. 100% out of 100% on all counts - well done to all staff at Crown Plaza Phuket Panwa

Das Hotel bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Ruhige Lage, wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer, tolle Poolanlage, super Frühstück, grossartiges Personal.Auch wenn das Hotel etwas ausserhalb liegt, kann man den Roller direkt vor Ort mieten und erreicht alles innerhalb 10 - 30 Minuten. Je nachdem, was man sehen will. Ausserdem liegt es im Süd-Osten Phukets, was sehr viel schöner und weniger touristisch ist als der Westen. Die besten Schnorchelplätze liegen direkt um die Ecke.Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich nochmals hinfahren.

I would start with I do highly recommend this hotel, but it is isolated. Beautiful sun rises from the rooms. The hotel grounds and beach area are beautiful, the rooms desperately need to be refurbished they look very old with small areas of paint coming off the walls in the room and outside on the balcony. The room we had was a grand terrace it was very big and I would recommend over a suite fantastic to use. The air conditioning in the room was not very effective. The hotel location is very isolated and the prices for food and drink are in some cases I would consider slightly expensive. The menu was okay in the restaurants with a reasonable choice. The breakfast area and food choice was extremely good and I would highly recommend you include this in your package. There was a lot of glass in the sand near the kids pool area we picked up hand fulls of glass every morning especially when the sea goes out, most of the other parts near the main pool area were really well maintained. The room had a kettle.

The Crowne Plaza, was an excellent respite away from the noise on the west side of Phuket. However, due to its location, its pretty much the only thing there. If you go to the Crowne Plaza you are looking at being there exclusively and nothing else. There is a shuttle thats provided but it doenst run too often and if you go into town it will cost you (at least thats what we were told).The pool was amazing and could only be made better by having a bar in it. Its central location allows the user to view the ocean when the tide is up. High tide and low tide is a big deal, its amazingly beautiful to see out (murky water) or a large flat of mud. Breakfast was awesome and full of wonderful choices. Great food and great service. Thanks to the staff for sure. The room is a bit dated but massive, we had a wonderful view out to the beach (dont forget high tide or low tide). Regardless, it was nice, the bathroom was nice as well, but in the room we were at it seemed that someone either got shot or had a nosebleed, because there was blood on the walls. I took pics and video to capture it all. Regardless, of the cons, the resort really is nice and it was great to get away from the noise for a couple of days.

The hotel staff is very good. breakfast was perfect and the other meals if you eat at the hotel are very pricy compared to eating outside the hotel. I’d definitely stay there again and learned that eat out for lunch and dinner and purchase the breakfast buffet when you book your room. Spa service are triple what you can get right next door or across the street Purchase trip for local people not the agency personnel that come to the hotel. You pay about 1/3 more than if you get with local taxi driver they will take care of you. Hotel is great. Pool closes at 7 pm which does t make sense but it is what it is.

If you like your hotel away from everything this is the hotel for you. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel you have to taxi every where. Food is way over priced and no free breakfast. I recommend eating at the little restaurant next to the hotel that’s on the beach, good food and half the price of the resort. Staff is very friendly and nice pools and beach. Drinks not very good and expensive. Room is ok but housekeeping is just average. I do recommend if you like a very seclusion resort.

Overall I had a great experience living in this hotel/ resort for three nights. Peaceful, nice ambiance and very good services from staff. The only negative point is it is a little far from all the main tourist attractions so you need to be ready for commuting at least 16-20 KMS for visiting the nearest tourist destinations.Overall a great experience and I recommend it!!

Beautiful property with clean and private beach, got two pools and a pool bar.Got a very good view from the breakfast restaurant, only two cuisine available in hotel that is thai and Italian.Away from crowded city, peaceful and got easy access to phuket old town and even got shuttle bus to drop and pick up.Rooms are spacious and clean got decent quality of amenities kits provided in rooms.Some staff are really friendly and professional like the chef broon knew my order during the entire stay got my poach eggs done with out even asking, every time I been for breakfast.The at biscuit cafe always was very helpful got things delivered to the cafe even if its not available on menu from different outlets.

Simply an excellent hotel. Ideal for guests who are looking for peace and quiet, without children. Staff is amazing. Very fine restaurant Mosaic and charming Café Biscuit (thank you Zia). Housekeeping deserves a special mention, a.o amazing what they can do with bathroom towels and aranging the beds. Great Spa. 2 swimming pools.

Ive realized that the loyalty program with IHG means less and less the longer I have it. Ive been a platinum to royal ambassador to now Spire Elite member for I think more than 6 years. This property at Panwa was practically empty with a very low occupancy during my stay Most of the suites were empty and it was overall quiet. Did they then offer me a good upgrade as I checked in? No they offered me a room which is technically one level up from what I booked but that is barely true. I questioned it and got moved the second day but not to a suite. I was moved to a slightly better room but the question is why did I even have to ask or question it? If this had been a property from a different brand I would have of course got a suite as a valued member and paying customer of many hundreds of nights. Here they did not even recognise my member status upon check in. I had to ask for the welcome points a day after. Also upon checkout the failed to deduct the discount from food and beverage that came from a coupon they themselves had provided. When asked before one staff said no u dont have to show the coupon eveeytime since we all know to deduct. This was obviously not true. My best experience at this hotel was some of the staff that helped me in the gym with Muay Thai training and activities in the Kids club, they were awesome but apart from that I will not recommend this hotel to any of my fellow Spire Elite colleagues. Its not worth to spend your money or points on.

If your looking for an oasis in the madness that is Phuket then you have found it.If your looking for somewhere to base yourself to do all the trips and excursions then you have found it.The hotel has amazing views of the bay from almost all bedrooms.So why would you not want to stay at the Panwa Bay hotel If you love Thai street food / little beach eateries If you love swimming in the seaIf you want to spend your time on bangla road (it’s too far for more than one trip)

We recently stayed at Crowne Plaza for part of our honeymoon. The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room very comfortable and the view was amazing. The pool areas were great. The beach wasn’t the best, it is tidal and even when in only comes to below your knee for miles out. We found the bar and food expensive, but that’s expected. There’s a mini mark and cafe across the road, we used it a few times. The location of the hotel is not within walking distance of any life, you need taxis (expensive) or we rented a moped one day. I would stay again it was very luxurious but if you want any life it’s not recommended although could be time of year we visited.

Honestly speaking this is one of the better hotels in Phuket. Service wise you cant get any better. But in overall nice hotel. -Has all the needs two pools - Daily entertainment- Staff are very well educated and friendly - Faruq Fern and Mark are top notch - Rooms are spacious - Beds are comfy But there is room for improvement not the best hotel to get a nice drink cocktails cant be called cocktails I was served something appalling and I regret not complaining then and there. Plus room is a bit outdated and old especially the bathroom and it shows. Plus the gym could be better equipped. Scale didnt work and airconditioning was poor. Room coffee and creamer where not refilled( but they did delivery it lightening quick if you call the reception or concierge) so cant fault that. Garden was not so nice was not cleaned after they cut the grass our patio was filled with dirt and so where the furniture. Even with the flaws I will be back plse work on the negatives and you can be easily deemed the best hotel in Phuket !

I stayed with my husband for 2nights at this lovely property. I wished we could stay longer.It was an experience of a lifetime with a very detailed welcome experience.Boonmark explained very well about the hotel facilities and services.Received welcome drink, 15minutes complimentary welcome massage voucher and a drink coupon which we could not utilised, but overall the member recognition was remarkable.Ming the GSA escorted us to the room where we are welcomed in a beautifully decorated room. Everything was top notch.Following day the water level was up between 11:00am to 1500hrs the best time to enjoy the beach and the pool.Since evening the water level and the tide was low, we visited the local Cape Panwa for a strolling around the street.Overall, the service were impeccable and luckily during our visit the hotel seems to be on low occupancy so there were not too many guest and place was a pure serene like heaven.Thank you Mr. Martin and team for the keeping the hotel so well and providing true hospitality to your guest RegardsNirupama & Sam

Ive stayed for 3 night for family trip during Songkran holiday. Actually Ive booked two Classic rooms and one Grand Andaman Sea view Terrace but the hotel upgraded from Grand Andaman Sea view Terrace to Suite sea view. Thats wonderful. Ive enjoy the breakfast because its fresh and variety. My sleep is well with comfortable bed and pillow. Staff is nice and serviced-mind. It wold be great if swimming pool is bigger than this, I love swimming!!

The first impressions of the hotel as you enter were good but checkin was where things started to go wrong.As I was staying on a rewards night and being a spire guest the first thing the staff explained was that I was not entitled to any spire member benefits, and presented me with a letter explaining this. I have never been greeted this way before and I shall confirm this statement with IHG head office separately.However a room up grade was given as a good will gesture from the hotel. Having just flown in from the UK we climbed into bed for a short afternoon nap. When we awoke we realised that the upgraded room was in terrible condition being dirty and in poor condition to the point that I refused to stay in it any longer. After complaining we were shown some other rooms and took one of these which was in better condition. I dread to think what the non-upgrade room would have been like.The hotel itself is located in a very quiet area which I like, but does limit your choices when it come to food and drink, although a short taxi ride takes you to a small town with a selection of bars and restraints.The food in the hotel was good with a good selection and well presented and all the F

We were checked into the Andaman sea view with balcony. This is one of the best room with a view I have checked in into for a long time. See attached picture.Even the sound of the sea was wonderful from the balcony.The resort opens up into the beach, and the breakfast and pool area are beautiful. We were pampered by the staff throughout our stay and they went the extra mile to make our stay a pleasant romantic affair.Food is good and we were treated to a lavish global breakfast spread.We used the spa, and while its expensive, this was an amazing experience. Try out their couples packages.Note: The resort is located in Panwa. This is a relatively quieter part of the island and a little away from the party scene.

What a wonderful experience we just had at this resort! The room was large and inviting and the terrace was wonderful to sit and relax on with a cup of coffee, a book or the iPad and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. The bed was comfortable as could be and the bathroom was huge. The staff were so wonderful ! Extremely helpful, generous and kind. You could truly feel their desire to help in any way possible. Everything we needed or wanted was just a phone call away! Special thanks to Fern and Beau and the others at the front desk who were very gracious and helpful EVERY time we called or approached. Based solely on our experience this time, we would return to this property without a question if we had the opportunity ! I just cant say enough good things about our experience. Please stay here if you get the chance !

Excellent hotel in a quiet location. Good for relaxing and pool time. Nice beach but no good for swimming as water is too shallow. Pools are lovely though, and suites have pool access.A great place to relax.

Room is facing seaview, which is awesome to see sunrise. We enjoy the good spa service in hotel, which is also worth its value. Breakfast could need more variety but overall it is excellent. Pool and beach were so empty which means we could enjoy the facilities more.

Our first experience at checkin was very good: Sao and colleagues helped us very quick, efficient and accurate, although I had no voucher with me. Next day we made a great deal for an upgrade. All other personnel appeared to be as helpfull and service minded,. As an example Pla & Kwang and colleagues. The Spa was also excellent for us: great service and excellent massages: Nee will be for ever in our hearts. Thank you for making our holiday perfect and absolutely above expectations. We will be back: we love the land of the smile, the people, the food and especially CP Phuket Panwa Beach. For us the perfect hotel in the perfect location: quiet, sun sea and rest together with excellent service..... we will be back

部屋やスタッフのサービスは満点です。ただビーチは泳げる海ではなかったのが残念です。朝食は今ひとつで、ほぼ中華料理ばかりでした。なぜタイ料理を提供しないのでしょうか？流れている音楽も中国の音楽でリゾートとしての雰囲気は良くなかったです。シャワールームのドアが閉まらず、床に水が漏れビショビショになる難点がありました。辛口になりましたが総合的には満足です。

From the moment, you step off the street and into the lobby you are entering a beautiful world. The whole setting is very well done and stylish, taking advantage of the beach location and the weather. It is very a nice hotel that welcomes you and treats you as a special friend of the house. The staff is super friendly and helpful, trying to fulfil all your wishes and requests. The whole exterior of the hotel is very nice with pool, palm trees and beach, so nice that you do not want to leave the premises. How could it be nicer anywhere else? In the evening, you can enjoy your time in the hotel lobby or restaurant as there is not much around it. We enjoyed our stay very much and regretted to not had more time for the hotel and the pool as we had booked many day trips.

2019 has been a hectic year for me and I didnt get much opportunity to spend some quality time with my family. This trip was planned to do exactly that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and honestly wanted to extend our stay. Were definitely coming back ... hopefully very soon.

Just got back from a 10 day holiday at Panwa Beach and i have got to say i really do not understand some peoples complaints. The hotel is sat on the beautiful Makkham Bay which is picturesque at both low and high tide. Yes, there are a lot of large tour groups but where are there not these days? Apart from breakfast followed by doing their selfies they werent around the rest of the day. Do not feel like i need to single staff out by name to praise as they were all fantastic, always helpful and always friendly. Breakfast choice was brilliant and good quality. We had dinner in Patio Alfresco for my 50th birthday, slightly pricey but well worth it. Admittedly there isnt much around but this was the best holiday for just relaxing weve had in a while. Would definitely go back.

We had a great time at the hotel. The staff is friendly and always available for assistance. The pool and proximity to an exclusive beach was wonderful. We tried out the spa twice in a stay of 5 days because the service was so awesome with some great deals. Unlike many hotels where room service can be a let down, the food here was great and a great option if you don’t want to go into the city.One thing I would note is that if you are looking to go out into town every night then this property may disappoint as it is far removed but if you want some tranquility and relaxation then this is the best place to be! A recommendation for the hotel would be to please upgrade the in-room toiletries .. they aren’t the beat and when you visit a beach resort you do like some great quality toiletries for your use! Overall loved my stay and can’t wait to be back!

Stayed at the hotel for a week in April/May. All the staff are really friendly and genuinely lovely people. We booked 2 rooms, one room was upgraded for free to a duplex 2 level room as recognition for my IHG Spire elite membership. The choice and quality of food is excellent. The buffet breakfast is great, and throughout the week theres the option for bufffet style evening meals, BBQs and Thai food. The Italian BBQ night was excellent, lots of choice of pasta dishes, meats and fish you can pick to be cooked for you to order. With a critical eye the hotel in some areas is looking a little bit tired, dated, maybe some fresh paint and a deeper clean/litter pick would help - but dont take this as criticism not to stay because you will certainly enjoy their hospitality and what the resort has to offer. Its probably one of the best Crowne Plaza resorts I have stayed at. We used the complimentary shuttle bus to Robinson and Central on different days. Tip if you go to Robinson grab a local tuck tuck or taxi from the shopping centre to the old town, theres a great variety of old shops, restaurants and a Temple nearby to visit.

Bonne Impression quand on arrive mais plusieurs manquements pour un 5 étoiles : on devait avoir une corbeille de fruits dans la chambre à notre arrivée, pas vue. Il a fallu attendre une semaine pour avoir des linges de main. On avait le thé offert tous les après midis, on a reçu qu’un seul bon. Chambre surclassée mais à côté du local de machines et mal insonorisée. J’ai fêté mes 50 ans le 26 janvier, même pas une petite carte de joyeux anniversaire.l’hotel est loin de tout, déplacements en taxi qui coûtent chers. Il y a du bon et moins bon personnel.

Very nice out of the way location to the very south of island. Quiet during day as guests go on tours and excellent quiet little cafe / bakery to side of hotel entrance. Great coffee and pastries.

I spend 3 nights in an amazing place with a wonderfull staff.The location is quiet and with 2 pools and the beach it is what I looked for. I had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and I love the choice, of food. The differents buffets offer all you can imagine, from croissants to soups to fruits to eggs cooked as you wish. The best buffet I have seen in a hotel. I had dinner every night at mosaique and the staff is so nice and professional. The food is very good and the choice of wine is enough and of great quality. I live near Italy and the quality of dishes are well respected. The desserts are the best I had in phuket!!!I went to the spa and the massages I took were very well done and the ambiance is perfect to relax.I will recommand the place for sure and will come back for the massage too. The bar ambiance is so nice, with jazz music end nice bartender, I enjoy having a drink every night before dinner. I asked the front desk some advices for choice of restaurant in Bangkok and they call the places I wanted to book for me... Very nice and helpful. Thanks to Beau and to Mr Denis the general manager. They both speak French and it is always helpfull when you need assistance for outside activities or for taxi directions. I love this hotel and the way the staff works, made my stay like paradise My suite was like a big huge duplex and a private pool... Dreaming of a place like this with a sea view.... This is the best place... The bed were very confortables with super mattress and great shower and jacuzzi room... I want to go back there now!!! I was just no happy about IHG because I asked for help and assistance and didnt get help. I wanted to put a comment here after a few days of stay and nobody in IHG has return my messages. I dont understand why ihg is not capable to give feedback when a customer ask... I run a company in France and my priority are my guest and futur guests. I hope things will change.

Highlight: Very nice hotel to stay for vacation. My sea view room with a huge balcony is very relaxing and can do sun bathing by your room. If you are a morning person and still can wake-up early in the morning during vacation, this bay where the hotel is would be able to provide you good Sun rise view if the weather is permit. Very professional, friendly and helpful staffs. Nong (front office manager) did an excellent job to settle my extra room request.Lowlight:- During low-tide, you will lost your beautiful beach view. - Hotel is located at a quite remote area. Good to have your own transportation in order to roam around beaches in Phuket or go to old town for sightseeing.

The hotel in general was great, everyone was friendly and accommodating. An excellent choice of food and drink and in particular Joy the barmaid was super.On the downside was housekeeping - the bedroom was not refreshed daily and I had to chase reception to get it down on numerous occasions.

Everything was wonderful. From prearrival contact, to every interaction at the resort, this team worked hard to make us happy, and they succeeded! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the upgrade from balcony to terrace was greatly appreciated! The pools were roomy and a comfortable temperature for swimming. The bar staff were very nice and not intrusive. The front office team were just wonderful from check in and arrival welcome, to explaining the resort, leading us to our room and the welcome flowers, everything was arranged beautifully. Room service was fast and delicious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to arrange the shuttles into town and back. We just had a really great stay! If there would be any room for improvement, it would be better blackout curtains in the room, as morning sun often peaks in between the cracks, and maybe more covers over food on the buffet and some refrigerated items such as to keep the cheeses more fresh in the heat, and there are insects and birds that make their way into the dining area.

I highly recommend The Crowne Plaza Phuket. It is the picture of luxury and pampering. From the kayaking to the infinity pool to the sea view balcony and delicious food,we were indulged throughout our stay. If you’re in Phuket, stay at the Crowne Plaza. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing and relaxing resort. the room was clean and well kept. the bed was comfortable. the grounds were well kept. and the spa was excellent
